Pool de deduplicación en Netbackup
Al igual que los appliances de deduplicación de Netbackup o el Data Domain de EMC, Netbakup certifica como solución integrada y válida en su plataforma el pool de deduplicación de Opendedup como contenedor de copias de seguridad en las diferentes plataformas de backup del coloso Veritas, demostrando la estabilidad de la solución opensource de deduplicación.
La implementación es sencilla, refiero para ello la documentación oficial del portal de Opendedup donde describe los pasos para la creación de un volumen de deduplicación e instalación del conector OST para su integración con Netbackup:
